The short version

• No ads. No tracking. No analytics SDKs. We never sell, rent, or share your data.
• You can play without signing in. Your progress, best times, streaks and settings stay on your device.
• If you buy or restore a membership without signing in, the app creates an anonymous account ID: a random number with no name or email, so the purchase can be tied to something.
• If you sign in with Apple or Google, we also keep the email address and display name they give us. If you buy or restore a membership, we keep the purchase record.

What we collect

The free game stores your progress, best times, streaks and settings on your device only (local storage). That data is not sent to us.

In Apple's terms we collect User ID, Email Address, Name and Purchase History:

• Account identifier - a Firebase Authentication user ID, created when you sign in, or when you buy or restore a membership without signing in.
• Email address and display name - only if you sign in with Apple or Google (Apple may give a private relay address; that's fine).
• Membership record - only if you buy or restore: whether your membership is active, when it renews or expires, and the store's transaction identifiers needed to verify and restore it.

We use this only for the app to work: to keep you signed in, unlock membership across your devices and our games, and restore purchases. It is linked to your account. It is never used to track you, for advertising or for analytics.

The app also sends Apple's or Google's device attestation to Firebase App Check so our servers can refuse abuse. We do not use it to identify you.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) - we never see or store your card details. We receive the membership status (active / trial / expiry) and the store's transaction identifiers, which we validate on our server to grant access.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the app - never for advertising or profiling:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions) - sign-in and storing your subscription status.
• Apple App Store / Google Play - payment processing and subscription notifications.

We do not use any advertising networks, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs, and we do not use advertising identifiers.

Your choices and rights

• Play without signing in - we keep no account for you at all unless you buy or restore a membership, and even then it has no name or email.
• Delete your account and data - in any Zkootie game, go to Settings or Menu, then Account, then Delete account. This removes your account record and subscription data from our backend. (Your subscription itself is managed in your App Store / Google Play account.)
• Access / questions - email us at support@zkootie.com.

Data retention

We keep your account and subscription record while your account exists. When you delete your account, that data is removed.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). Backend access is restricted, and app requests are attested with Firebase App Check.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the app.
